“Future leader, please I want to request that you extend our gratitude to President Akufo-Addo. Tell him that when you cane here the people of Akrofuom said they are very grateful to him. Tell him the Chief and his people are very grateful.”
While assuring Dr. Bawumia of their support, Nana Anim Agyekum praised Dr. Bawumia for his wisdom and urged him to be resolute as President.
“As you are coming, stay resolute for God has blessed you with wisdom and bravery,’ he said.
“The way Ghanaians have accepted you, we have also joined them to embrace you. We have taken you as our son because we know you will not disappoint us.”
The Chief further commended government for the district road improvement project (DRIP) machines sent to them, urging the district to speed up with upgrading some roads he mentioned.
