JUSAG Calls Off Strike

The Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG) has called off its intended industrial action to back demands for the review of salaries and allowances for members.

The Association a few weeks ago served notice to embark on a nationwide strike on October 28 over the review of their salaries and allowances.

Explaining the call off, President of JUSAG, Alex Nartey said after serving notices of the strike, the Association received a letter from the office of the President and members rescinded the decision.

Speaking on the Privilege Morning Show on Wontumi Radio, Alex Nartey said it wouldn’t be modest to embark on the strike after receiving a letter from the office of the President.

According to him, the Association is yet to contemplate on the letter received.
