Former President John Mahama is being accused by a staunch member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of teaching Joyce Bawa how to insult Ashanti people.
Nanasei, has therefore asked indigenes of Ashanti region to punish the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for constantly disrespecting them.
Joyce Bawah Mogtari, a special aide to Mr. John Mahama has urged the public to disregard a fake social media post attributed to her.
She has denied insulting Ashanti people but Nanasei reacted to her claim on Wontumi TV and accused her “learning the insults from Mahama”.
“They (Mahama and Joyce) take Ashanti people for granted. We have to show Mahama that if he doesn’t respect Asahnti people, then we don’t also value their party (NDC)”, he suggested.
He used Mr. Mahama’s recent refusal to attend Akwasidae and pay homage to Otumfuo as one of the many reasons Ashanti people should reject the NDC.
