The Chief Executive Officer of Public Sector Reforms, Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo, has slammed former President John Mahama’s approach to politics and governance, labeling his antics as the same strategy Agya Koo uses in his movies.
In an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show, Mr. Boafo explained that former President John Mahama was adopting the “political simulation” style to create a false impression he has changed from his old ways.
But he continued that “if the person practices simulation, you don’t even have to believe him… simulation is in politics just like in movies…this is what Mahama did at the Great Hall in Kumasi. When you watch a movie, you will see Agya Koo crying in one scene then in the next, you will see him committing adultery.”
The experienced economist noted that the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) had not changed from his old ways and whatever Ghanaians saw him do wrongly when he was President, is his true identity.
“NDC talked one time premium in health insurance in 2008 and 2012, but they couldn’t do it even in 2016. So can you trust such a person?“ he rhetorically asked.
