Former President John Mahama cared less about where his own Vice President slept at night that he forcefully hijacked his official residence and lived happily after, David Boakye has shockingly revealed.
Under the Presidency of John Mahama, the late former Vice President Amissah-Arthur, had no official residence to sleep in because his own boss (Mahama) had refused to vacate the official residence meant for the vice President.
Speaking on Wontumi TV, David Boakye explained that former President John Mahama shuffled between sleeping at Jubilee house and the house he had hijacked, knowing very well that his own vice had no official residence to call a home.
Three days after handing over power to Nana Akufo-Addo, former President John Mahama still occupied his official residence while in power.
Mahama lived in the residence of the vice-president all through the period he was in government.
A former vice-president, he refused to relocate to the official quarters of the president after succeeding John Atta Mills, who died in 2012.
Mahama’s failure to vacate the house when his term ended has reportedly left Mahamudu Bawumia, the incoming vice-president, stranded.
