Former President John Dramani Mahama together with his party member who deliberately parked his truck on the railway ought to be arrested Chairman Wontumi has said.
The Ashanti regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) believes there was meeting between Mr. Mahama and executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to kill everyone aboard the new train government procured from Poland which was undergoing a test run within the Asuogyaman District on Thursday, April 18.
In a studio interview on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Chairman Wontumi gave reasons for calling on the Inspector General of Police to immediate cause the arrest of the truck driver Abel Dzidotor and Mr John Mahama.
“The driver together with Mahama must be arrested. How come they were able to offload took the blocks from the truck but couldn’t get people to push the car away from the rail? They conspired to kill everyone aboard the train”.
Chairman Wontumi further named the National Chairman for the NDC, Mr. Johnson Asideu Nketia as part of those who schemed to create the accident.
“Dampare has to invite John Mahama because Ofosu Ampofo and Sammy Gyamfi told us to win an election, they have to create problems. The branch chairman was given the job by the NDC senior executives”, he said.
The driver of the truck abandoned on the Tema-Mpakadan railway line that led to Thursday’s train crash has been jailed for six months.
