The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako has revisited rumours linking former President John Mahama to the death of his own boss for power in 2012.
Chairman Wontumi said this in an interview with Movementtvonline.com on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
During an address on Constitution Day, President Akufo-Addo revealed that three years after the election, he is yet to receive a congratulatory message from his main opponent, John Mahama.
But the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has claimed that the NDC and its flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, will not congratulate President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his victory in the 2020 elections for “murdering Ghanaians to secure power.”
Chairman Wontumi aptly replied the NDC Chairman by boldly claiming that it was rather his boss, John Mahama who is has been rumoured to have “murdered the late former President John Atta Mills for political power”.
“Asiedu Nketia should tell us how the late former President Atta Mills ended up at a maternity ward at 37 Military Hospital. He should also tell us why an ambulance didn’t take the late former President to the hospital”, Chairman Wontumi said.
