“John Mahama Knows He Has Lost The 2020 Elections” – Chairman Wontumi Declares
Chairman Wontumi’s daily political commentary laced with Biblical Quotes and sermons has again made John Mahama the target of his tirades.
Speaking on Wontumi TV/Radio on Friday, Chairman Wontumi this time around put a definite meaning to the former President’s body language without speculating.
“The former President is gripped by hysterics. The haste with which he abandoned the campaign boat to rush to Accra to pursue what is clearly a petty issue sounds convincing that the former President has indirectly thrown in the towel.” He declared.
“How on earth would you disappoint Nananom by abandoning them simply because the news is doing the rounds that some of your party members could not find their names in the voters register? It sounds childish.” He noted.
He went further to say that “The NDC’s claim that the EC is compromising on its neutrality by deliberately deleting names of some NDC supporters is neither here nor there.
“ It’s a smokescreen and John Mahama is hiding behind it to save his face. He knows he has already lost the battle.” Teased Chairman Wontumi.
A comment on one of the social media platforms in reaction to the President’s bizarre act read: “Asiedu Nketiah could easily have dealt with this issue by enquiring from the EC what had gone wrong before doing politics with it.”
According reports, the running Mate of John Mahama was also summoned by her boss to suspend her campaign tour to join the former President in Accra to pursue the matter against the EC.
”The true meaning I make of this whole drama is that the impact of both the NDC’s Flag Bearer and Running Mate, Professor Mrs Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman’s campaign tour is nothing to write home about.” He charged.
According to Chairman Wontumi, he has gathered enough intelligence suggesting that the John Mahama campaign has failed to make any impact on the electorate.
“It has been a total flop else he would not have suspended it with that flimsy excuse. Can you Imagine a situation where Nana Addo would terminate his current tour of the Western North Region for him to come to Accra to ask the EC boss why his supporters names are missing from the voters register?.”
How possible! It can never happen. It shows the difference between a more serious and determined candidate and the playful one.”
Chairman Wontumi further noted that “John Mahama’s hidden intention in relapsing into a fit of sporadic tantrums and hysteria in recent times over petty issues are all a pointer that he has already been humiliated in the 2020 election. His pettiness is founded in his admission that he has lost the contest.”
According to him the former President’s recent threats that he would not accept the results of the elections is all part of “the groaning of a dead horse.
”John Mahama knows he has lost the elections. It is only the sycophants who are urging him to go on with the fight by creating the impression that, “he has even won the battle already.”
Chairman Wontumi who has become a thorn in the flesh of the NDC especially, in Ashanti, says his party has high expectations of maximizing its votes from within the ranks of the youth some of who have been provided jobs and the free SHS beneficiaries.
“Our targeted group which is the SHS graduates can boost our fortunes with 1.5 million votes to make our target of two million votes difference between the NDC possible. The NDC’s cries over the missing 7,000 votes is therefore irrelevant because it can’t give them any advantage even though, the EC has refuted their claim. We remain focused on fulfilling our manifesto promises.”
