Chilling details have been provided by the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party about how former President Mahama hired assassins from Burkina Faso to come and assassinate him.
It is public knowledge that former President Mahama has backed down after he was embroiled in some legal tussle with Kwame Baffoe over claims he has been involved in some killings in the country,
It is on the back of this issue that Kwame Baffoe popularly known as Abronye stated on the Nsempa Fie show on Wontumi TV that he was on the list of persons the former President wanted to eliminate before the 2020 elections.
“The CID requested me to come over when Mahama reported me to them. I showed them evidence that people were plotting to kill me…Kennedy Agyapong had all the document as well. They had gone to hire the assassins from Burkina Faso to come and executive the mission.
So during the last 6th March celebration, a member of the NDC came to greet me at the grounds and I knew that they had started their mission to kill me. I didn’t even wait for President Akufo-Addo to finish his speech and I left the grounds. I gave all the evidence to ken Yeboah and they played the recordings and advised me to use two police escorts everywhere I go”, he recounted.
The chilling revelations according to Abronye forced the lawyers of former President Mahama to discontinue the case he had wanted to pursue against him.
