John Mahama Enticing Al Qaeda To Attack Ghana- Renowned Journalist Speaks On Presidential Vacuum

Renowned media practitioner, Dasebre Adjei Dwamena, is worried about the vacuum that has been created following President John Mahama’s absence from the country without an acting president being sworn in.

Addressing the issue on Movement TV, Dasebre noted that the void created can easily spur a terrorist group to invade the country and takeover governance.

“If we are attacked by Al Qaeda, I won’t be surprised because it is a deliberate move by this government for us to experience it”, he shared.

He advised President Mahama’s government to observe the provisions in the constitution to avert future terrorist attack on Ghana.

The constitution directs in Article 60(8) that in the absence of the President, the Vice President shall act in his stead.

But in the current case of Ghana, the country is currently without a President, Vice President, and Speaker of Parliament because they are all out the country.
