John Mahama Created A Mess At Jubilee House- Chairman Wontumi
Chairman Wontumi has chided former President, John Dramani Mahama for creating a mess at the Jubilee House which became his official abode when he was elected as the President of the Republic.
According to Chairman Wontumi, Mr. John Mahama created a rapid deterioration situation at the Jubilee House so much so that, the place had to be renovated before its re-occupation by Nana Akufo-Addo when he took over from him.
Chairman Wontumi who was contributing to a discussion on current political trends in the country as the December election draws closer said the abuse and total recklessness that the seat of government was subjected to is most unfortunate.
“The whole place had to be renovated for it to redeem its lost glamour and splendour. How come that, a President chose to behave this way?” He lamented
Chairman Wontumi also questioned the motive of the former President for making a mockery of the law that forbids the use of bicycles and tricycles as commercial transport vehicles
“John Mahama is acting as a rebel leader – an out law because he has blatantly infringed on a law he himself superintendent its passing.
According to him, with that singular act, the former President “has exposed his hypocrisy because he made a law and turned round to break it with impunity.”
He said while Nana Akufo-Addo is moving from one community to the other to deliver his message of hope through the cutting of tapes to commission new projects or the sod to commence a new ones John Mahama on his part is basking in trivialities “because he has no message.”
According to Chairman Wontumi, the achievements by the NPP across the Districts “have killed the game for the NPP as far as the election 2020 is concerned.”
