JHS, SHS Two Students Return To School October- President Announces
His Excellency President Akufo-Addo has announced that Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) form 2 students are to return to school on 5th October 2020 to complete their academic works.
He said that both will spend ten weeks in school.
Addressing the nation on Sunday night on measures taken to combat the COVID-19 disease showed live on Wontumi TV and Radio he said that the classrooms would be fumigated before usage.
“COVID-19 protocols would strictly be observed. The students would be given, Veronica buckets, reusable nose masks and sanitizers.” Akufo-Addo indicated.
He affirmed that, the JHS two students would be served with hot meal each day.
According to the President, Ghana Education Service(GES) has decided to postpone the Nursery to Primary level academic activities to January 2021.
