Crusaders, a center-right political group on Sunday morning donated some food items and toiletteries valued at some thousands of cedis to the Perfect Peace Foundation, an orphanage in the Subin constituency.
The donation by the group was on behalf of Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua (JFK), a general secretary aspirant of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Items donated by the group included toilet rolls, washing detergents, towels, soaps, cooking oil, drinking water, assorted drinks, rice, and toothpaste amongst other items.
In his short remarks, the leader of the Crusaders Group, Clement Osei said the donation was intended to make the kids at the home happy so that they could pray for JFK who is seeking to become the General Secretary of the NPP.
“This morning our task as Crusaders is a simple one and just as our Patron, JFK has always done he has sent us to donate these items to make the kids here happy so that they could through their happiness pray for victory on his path as he seeks to become the General Secretary of the NPP on Saturday at the national polls”, Master Osei noted.
RECEPTION:
Receiving the items, Madam Mary Bonsu and Sofo Maame Akua, leaders at the Home thanked JFK through the Crusaders Group for the gesture.
They noted that the donation had come at a timely moment at the Home.
Joined by the kids at Home, the leaders prayed for God’s favour for the general aspirant.
They asked for victory for JFK and safety for his team as they travel and readies for Saturday polls in Accra on Saturday, 16th July 2022.
“We are very grateful for this gesture by our son Lawyer JFK and we pray that God grants him a famous victory on the 16th of July so that he could become the next General Secretary of the NPP”, Sofo Maame Akua stressed.
BACKGROUND:
The Crusaders Group is a pro-NPP group noted for undertaking a person-to-person campaign for the party during election periods.
Originally started by Clement Osei, a vociferous young man who was popularly called “one man Crusader”, the group has become noted for charity work including periodic visits to prisons in the Ashanti Region.
The group has Justin Kodua Frimpong as its lifetime Patron and has since dedicated its activities to supporting the YEA boss and aspiring General Secretary.
