Chairman Wontumi has asked Rev Owusu Bempah to stop deceiving the public about hearing the voice of Jesus when in fact he doesn’t understand the Hebrew language.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who is a theologian, stated on the Wontumi Morning Show that God can’t be separated from his language so Rev Owusu Bempah should tell Ghanaians how he managed to hear his voice and understand his message.
Rev Owusu Bempah was recently seen in the company of pastors who identify with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and prophesied on former President John Mahama that God has told him that he will win the 2024 Presidential election.
But Chairman Wontumi dragged Rev Owusu Bempah to explain to Ghanaians the language he used to communicate with God.
“You claim you heard the voice of God but I want to ask you if he spoke to you in Asante language or which language did he use?” he rhetorically asked.
“He is a God of the Hebrew and you can’t separate a person from his language. Jesus is a Hebrew so I want to know the language he used when communicating to you. Which language did he use when talking to you?” he further probed.
He wondered if God spoke Asante twi to the self-acclaimed prophet and asked him not to mock our creator.
