Jean Mensah Is More Intelligent Than John Mahama – NPP Chairman Taunts NDC

Chairman Wontumi, Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic has observrd that, the Electoral Commission Chairperson, Jane Mensah is more Intelligent than the Presidential candidate of the NDC, John Mahama.

According to him, the EC Chairperson cannot be blamed for what the NDC assume was a flaw in the declaration of the results
Speaking on Wontumi Radio/TV he said that, Jane Mensah that the the EC officials at the the polling stations did the right tihing by collat ing the results at the constituency , the regional and then the regional before forwarding them to the headquarters for collation and then declaration.

“What Jean Mensah did was to collate the results of all the 16 Regions before declare the results.” He said

He indicated that “when the NPP were saying the 2020 election is Science and Data the NDC took it as a joke. The Science and Data constitutes what exactly happened at the polling stations.” He emphasized

According to Chairman Wontumi, it has been alleged that, the wife of John Mahama, Lordina is piling pressure on his husband to accept defeat insisting that no matter what they do they have lost the polls.

He continued that ” Its being rumoured that Lordina cautioned the husband that that, it’s impossible for Akufo-Addo to relinquish power so he should behave like Goodluck Jonathan to save his face.”

However, Chairman Wontumi affirmed that, it is not in the constitution for a candidate to accept the defeat in an election.

He said that, ” the constitution enjoins every eligible voter to cast their vote on election day for the presidential candidate to get 50 plus 1 vote before being declared the winner. And this is exactly what has happened with Nana Akufo-Addo beating John Mahama with more than 500,000 votes.

Chairman Wontumi held the view that , the demonstration and acts of vandalism by NDC supporters including their leaders to protest the election results amount to an act of rebellion which can only happen in the party and not in NPP.
