The First Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region, Kwabena Nsenkyire has described beleaguered former Member of Parliament for Assin North as a person with brains but without wisdom.
His comments come after James Quayson continues to meddle in political activities when a High Court has warned him to stay off and stop carrying himsef as the MP for Assin North.
Speaking on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Kwabena Nsenkyire stated that if James Quayson had “wisdom”, he would clearly see that the NDC only needed his service when it came to electing a new Speaker of Parliament and not as an MP.
He stated that the party wouldn’t have allowed several lawyers to play ball with him by abandoning his case if they really had him at heart.
It would be recalled that a Cape Coast High Court canceled results of the parliamentary elections in the Assin North constituency for the 2020 elections.
The High Court Judge, Justice Kwasi Boakye, ordered for fresh elections to be conducted in the constituency.
The court also warned James Gyaakye Quayson the NDC 2020 Parliamentary candidate for Assin North MP from holding himself as the MP for the Constituency.
A parliamentary election petition was filed at the Cape Coast High Court that sought to annul the declaration of Mr. James Gyakye Quayson as the Member of Parliament (MP) elect for the Assin North Constituency.
