NPP Parliamentary candidate in the Odododiodio constituency, Abdul Manaf Nii Sowah, is optimistic of breaking the 20-year jinx in the constituency, by winning the seat for the NPP in the constituency.
He noted that there are a lot of projects he’s executed within the constituency, which he believes constituents will consider all those, vote for the NPP in the 2024 election.
“I’ve been very supportive to the less privileged and vulnerable in the constituency. When I’m voted as the next MP, I will definitely do more. The seat is a safe one for the NPP this time around. I’ve made available, Four Hundred (400) dryers for some hairdressers in the constituency and also, Two Hundred and Fifty (250) sewing machines for dressmakers. I’ve assisted a lot more people to acquire jobs. The unemployment rate in the constituency is very alarming, and I’m very determined to eradicate that from the constituency and it is for this reason that I’ve started providing jobs for the unemployed…”, he stated.
He went further to disclose that about One Hundred and Fifty (150) traders have received start-up capital to either boost or start up a trade in a bid to enhance their livelihood.
“These are all from my personal resources. I have provided scholarships for some tertiary students. Not everyone belongs to the classroom and for this reason, I have ensured that I make available boots and jerseys for talented footballers in the constituency”, disclosed.
