A lay preacher of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Papa Gyan Bandoh has noted with joy that gradually members of the church are embracing the concept that God loves a cheerful giver.
Mr Bandoh who was delivering a sermon at the Emmanuel congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana at Atwima Koforidua on Sunday stressed that giving willingly is part of the mission and vision of the PCG and urged membets not to be swayed so they do not become victims of coercive giving.
Mr Bandoh who was referring to the recent incident involving Mrs Patricia Asiedua Koranteng, popuularly known as Agradaa or Mama Pat, said it should be a reminder that the church hall is not the right place to use tricks and any other form of force to compel members to give as if the church is a place to perform magic
