It’s A Curse Not To Maintain Akufo-Addo – Chairman Wontumi
Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako has stated that it would be a curse not to vote massively in the December 7 election to maintain President Akufo-Addo.
He noted with a defence that President Akufo-Addo has done a lot for the country and will continue to do more if maintained.
Speaking on Wontumi Morning Show Thursday morning, Chairmain Wontumi told host of the show, Oheneba Nana Asiedu that anyone who refuses to acknowledge the good works of President Akufo-Addo and fail to vote tremendously for President Akufo-Addo will incur a curse upon him or herself.
“President Akufo-Addo has done a lot and when he is maintained, he will do much more but anyone who refuses to vote for him shall incur the wrath of God and this will amount to a curse,” he emphasized.
Quoting from Isaiah 54:17 in the Bible;17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper,And every tongue which rises against you in judgment. You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord.
Chairman Wontumi did not hesitate to ask Ghanaians to weigh the track records of President Akufo-Addo and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its incompetent John Mahama.
He cited the Free SHS policy as one of the Nana Addo led NPP government
Which has come to stay because Nana Addo has the nation at hand.
“Mahama and the NDC had raised doubts about the Free SHS policy but it is now fruitful all because Nana Addo promises and always deliver.”
Reminding Ghanaians on why Mahama needs not be voted for, Chairman Wontumi said, Mahama run down the economy, went to the IMF for a bailout and as a result could not employ young people, today this person is promising to create a million jobs, Does it sound like a credible promise?”, he asked.
