‘It Was A Great Honour To Receive A Handshake From President Akufo-Addo’- 2021 National Best Farmer
The 2021 National Best Farmer, Alhaji Mohammed Mashud has said that among the numerous prizes chalked, the most outstanding is the handshake he received from President Akufo- Addo.
According to Alhaji Mohammed Mashud, he received “a very good handshake from the President.”
He disclosed to Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi Radio Morning Show on Monday, 6/11/2021.
The 44-year-old native of Mion District in the Northern Region hinted it is an abomination in his culture for a person to shake his father unless a special occasion.
He added that “for Agric Minister to shake me and my wife on a national television was something beyond imagination.”
Alhaj Mohammed Mashud stressed that his achievements as the 2021 National Best Farmer is not just a nine-day wonder.
He was quick to say that, he will continue to do exploits for mother Ghana.
