It has become evidently clearer that operators of Multimedia Group, Media General and some Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) have a sinister agenda against the government of President Akufo-Addo.
Hopeson Adorye, a patriot of the New Patriotic Party has called out Joy FM, Joy News and TV3 accusing the media houses of being hounded by witchcraft.
Speaking on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Mr. Adorye stated that “we shouldn’t mince words; it is Joy FM and Joy News spearheading this agenda against government. Media General is already NDC so we should say it as it is.”
The government of President Akufo-Addo has refused to budge to incessant requests by workers of Joy FM to shower them with freebies like the former President John Mahama used to do for.
The refusal has landed government in the stations’ bad books and they have started an agenda to accuse government of suppressing free speech in Ghana.
But according to Hopeson Adorye who is also a key member of Fixing the Country Movement, it is rather Joy FM, Joy News and TV3 that does not want to promote free speech in Ghana.
“They don’t want us to have an opposing view. These media houses have an agenda”, he pointed out.
