The Ahafo Regional Communications director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Frimpong Andrews, says, getting John Kumah’s replica will be a difficult one.
According to him, John Ampontuah Kumah had a selfless personality and his vision cannot be compared to that of any candidate.
The Ejisu constituency’s parliamentary seat has been vacant following the passing of the deputy finance minister, John Ampontuah Kumah.
All aspirants who have filed nominations are set to be vetted on Saturday, April, 6, 2024.
Speaking with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV, on 5th April, 2024, he extolled the qualities of John Kumah, emphasising that, the process would not be seamless.
“It is almost impossible to get John Kumah’s replacement. His vision is exceptional, he was selfless in his work. The aspirants are capable but it will be very difficult to get someone like him” he said.
In addition, he entreated Ejisu constituents to honour the late minister by voting massively for the New Patriotic Party in the coming by-elections.
