An ardent member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Yandoh, has tore into the Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya constituency, Hon Adwoa Safo stating that her apology to the party cannot be accepted.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show, Mr. Yandoh stated in plain terms that the apology from Hon Adwoa Safo, can pass as fake due to the manner in which she recorded it.
“Is that how to beg? Even Dampare who arrests people is crying before a committee and you are there not shedding a tear but say we should forgive you? The mode Adwoa Safo is using to ask for forgiveness is not even right…she is even ‘slanging’”, he said.
Hon Adwoa Safo has rendered an unqualified apology to the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), especially the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and other party officials.
Mrs Safo clarified that her actions were unintended and were a result of personal challenges she was grappling with, both as an individual and as a member of a family.
The former Deputy Majority Leader also sought forgiveness from the Majority Caucus, as well as from the party’s regional and constituency executives.
But Paul Yandoh maintained that as at the time the NPP needed Mrs Safo most, “she was sitting and dancing on tik tok”.
And so what, she can say sorry to the party if she feels so. you guys should stop some of these nonsense okay. are you more NPP than her. Go contest her.
