Is Matthew Opoku Prempeh compactible to work with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia?
That is the million dollar question that deserves an answer as the hunt for a running mate is on the table of the New Patriotic Party according ace journalist, Gordon Asare-Bediako.
Dissecting the problem on Saturday’s political analysis show on Movement TV dubbed Bekyere Mu, Gordon Asare-Bediako stated that he is yet to come across a research that proves a “popular” running mate is automatically compactible with his flagbearer.
As a student of research, he stated “there is no research to prove that; I am a student of research but there is no research to prove it”.
Speaking on the alleged survey by the National Investigation Bureau (NIB) that puts Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh alias Napo, in a position to be named as running mate to Dr Bawumia, Gordon Asare-Bediako agreed that he (Opoku Prempeh) possesses all the qualities to look out for in a running mate but that doesn’t end there.
Apart from the fact that Napo is “popular, people like him and has practiced politics for long, he is competent”, Gordon stressed that there is a major ingredient which shouldn’t be overlooked and that is “compactibility” with the flagbearer.
