Richard Ahiagbah has asked Ghanaians not to trust former President Mahama when he talks about running a 24-hour economy in his next administration.
The Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party in a studio interview on Wontumi TV stated that Mr. Mahama failed to keep the lights on when he was once in power and wonders the type of energy generation he will used to keep the power on for businesses to run on.
“Doesn’t he expect us to use candle light for the 24-hour economy? Would he work with candles? He couldn’t even manage the light situation. We had the capacity to generate it but he was unable to do it. He couldn’t raise funds to buy gas for the power plants to work”, he said in a submission monitored by Wontumionline.com.
Richard Ahiagbah stated that before Mr. Mahama became President, Ghana’s economy was rising and he came to destroy.
“Yet he is promising 24 hour economy but during his time his was unable to keep the lights stable”, he said.
