The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako widely known as Chairman Wontumi, has called on the rank and file of his party; especially those in the Constituency level to intensify their campaign to vantage area, including ghettos and the den of ‘ashawo’ to enable them break the eight.
Chairman Wontumi urged NPP supporters to go out in coming elections by adopting “eye to eye”, “door to door”, “room to room” campaign strategy.
Chairman Wontumi made this call to Wontumionline, when he addressed party members during an official inauguration of Constituency campaign team ahead of the December 7th general polls.
He asserted that the ruling NPP, is the only party known for good governance and policies.
He eulogized the Akufo-Addo led administration for initiating the successful social intervention programmes such as Free SHS, Free maternal care and commended former President John Agyekum Kufuor who also initiated the National Health Insurance Scheme, and School Feeding programme.
He finally remarked that thousands of people are beneficiaries of the above policies.
