Instead of investing money in buying and burying cows for ‘juju’, former President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), should use the money to help the needy in society, Chairman Kofi Owusu Omar, has advised.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman of Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP) in an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show, noted that society would bless and appreciate the NDC if they switch from buying expensive cows for rituals for political powers to investing directly in the lives of individuals.
“Instead of Mahama burying cows political power, he should use the money to help the needy”, Chairman Kofi Owusu Omar said in the interview monitored by Wontumionline.com.
In 2019, a former NDC Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Takoradi, Kobena Prah Annan, made a shocking revelation that the quest for power within his party led to the killing of his colleagues through the use of “juju”.
“…it was my own NDC folks who made sure that I was removed from office as mayor because I was not in their camp and was not dancing to the tune of their kind of music but I’m happy that, I’m well today, maybe I would have died by now through juju because I know most of my colleague District Chief Executives who died through juju and I can tell you that majority of politicians in Ghana will not make it to heaven,” he said in an interview with Empire FM.
The NDC man criticized the unhealthy competition in Ghana’s politics, especially intraparty competition which he asserts is deadlier than between or among political parties.
