Infrastructural Projects @ Sekyere Afram Plains To Win NPP The Parliamentary Seat- DCE
The District Chief Executive for Sekyere Afram Plains in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Joseph Owusu, aka Odenkyem, has emphasized that the infrastructural projects he and the NPP government have done in the area will help the party grab the Parliamentary seat.
According to Odenkyem, God knows why he didn’t give him the Parliamentary seat in the 2012 general elections stressing that, God wanted the people to notice his works as DCE.
“Our works would speak for us. The residents have noticed what we have done within the three and half years.” Odenkyem told Nana Konadu Abu-prah, sit in host of Election 2020 political programme on Wontumi Radio & TV.
He bragged that, a section of people think he is dormant in this year’s election but his works are firm on the ground.
“The people have compared the works in the past and current works that’s why they are saying this is Odenkyem’s time,” he said.
According to him, 18,545 eligible applicants registered in the voters’ registration exercise against 13,862 they had in 2012.
He noted that, the constituency’s voters’ register have shot up by 20%.
Hon. Owusu disclosed that, the NDC Parliamentary candidate for the area slaughtered a cow to celebrate the increasing figure of the voters’.
But according to Hon. Owusu, he would concur with the Ashanti Regional Chairman of NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako’s comment that the 2020 election is based on ‘signs and data’
He re-emphasized that, the transformation of the sky in the area is giving strong signals that, NPP will surely grab the Parliamentary seat in Sekyere Afram Plains.
