Instead of becoming a better person and leader in opposition, former President John Mahama is rather becoming visionless, a deputy Minister of Finance, Lawyer John Kumah has observed.
The minister also dispelled inaccurate notion by the 2020 flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that Ghana was in a state of crisis noting that it is never true.
In an interview on Wontumi TV, Lawyer John Kumah explained that the only time Ghana was in a state of crisis was when John Mahama was President.
“It is never true Ghana’s economy is in crisis. The only time our economy was in crisis was when he (Mahama) brought ‘dumsor’ and destroyed businesses. The only time Ghana’s economy was in crisis was when he took us to IMF and couldn’t manage us”, he said.
He continued that the governent of President Akufo-Addo, has weaned Ghana off the crisis the government of John Mahama left behind.
“Everywhere President Akufo-Addo goes, he opens a factory. This shows how the economy he is expanding and his vision”, he added.
Lawyer John Kumah therefore explained that he is saddened Mr. Mahama makes certain pronouncement which shows he has learnt nothing in opposition as a leader after exiting power just some few years ago.
