I’m Proud Of Jane Mensah, She Has Done Extremely Well- Koku Anyidoho Praises

Founder and Chief Executive of Atta Mills Institute, Mr. Samuel Koku Anyidoho has expressed satisfaction about the just ended general elections saying it was good.

He said that, Ghanaians should thank God and themselves and be proud of what they have achieved.

In an exclusive interview on Wontumi Radio/TV Koku Anyidoho said that he was impressed and that the victory is not NPP nor NDC but for the people of Ghana.

According to the former Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, he is proud of the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jane Mensah saying she has done extremely well.

He said that, a section of Ghanaians chastised her for conducting a new registration exercise but she ignored and took a bold step and did it.

The founder of Atta Mills Institute said that he toured the polling centers in the Volta Region and didn’t see any military personnel in any center as it was initially alleged that the military have stormed the centers to stop the voters from voting.

“We should exercise constraint when doing propaganda.” He appealed

According to Koku Anyidoho critical lessons have been learnt from the elections as a Republic.

He said that, for the first time the NDC has lost a Parliamentary seat in the Volta Region because of the marvelous work Hon. Peter Amewu did.

He also said that, NPP also lost most of the seat in the urban areas which is the party’s stronghold, “same as the NDC which also lost more votes in their strongholds.

“For the first time Parliamentary decision would be built on a consensus.” He said
