Media personality Berla Mundi has said that she does not see herself as a celebrity and disclosed that she also uses commercial transport.
This comment from Berla Mundi comes after she took to her Twitter page to lament over the hike in prices in transport fares.
Berla Mundi tweeted how she paid a taxi driver GHc20 when she boarded a taxi from 37 Military hospital’s filling station to TV3 behind the Afrikiko Restaurant. She lamented that she would start walking because of the hike in prices.
She tweeted, “Taxi from 37 Total filling station to TV3 office cost me Ghc20. Time to start walking”. It seems some fans did not believe a celebrity like Berla Mundi would patronize a commercial vehicle and not her personal car.
A fan tweeted at her, “But the thing is how is a celebrity like you picking taxi”.
In response, Berla stated that she is not a celebrity as people think she is because she still picks taxis and used to pick “trotro”.
She tweeted, “I’m not a celebrity sir. I’m just a young Ghanaian lady on TV who also picks taxis and used to pick trotro too.”
