The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has passionately appealed to all aggrieved members of his party to rescind their decision of running on an independent ticket in 2020.
According to the NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, any member of the party who decides to run independent would fail to clinch that ambition of representing his or her constituency in parliament.
He made it clearer on the Wontumi Morning Show that the NPP in Ashanti region has put in measures to ensure they will all seats for the party in 2020.
“In the name of Jesus Christ I am pleading with you to rescind that decision of going to Parliament on an independent ticket. It is a decision that won’t favour you because there is no way you can win as an independent candidate in Ashanti region under my regime”, he said.
“I will be visiting every constituency and speak to the people. I am pleading with everyone to support the candidate the party has elected”, he appealed on the Wontumi Morning Show.
