Legislator for Effiduase-Asokore, Nana Ayew Afriye has admitted that times are hard but the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) cannot take Ghana out of the situation.
Nana Ayew Afriye jabbed that if NDC was in power, Ghanaians would have turned into cannibals.
Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show on Wednesday he said COVID-19 and the Russia-Ukraine war have imposed economic hardship.
He emphasized that in times like this the NPP is the only party that can bring comfort.
“We won’t compare ourselves to NDC because we are capable of managing the economy,” he said.
Nana Ayew Afriye stressed that former President John Agyekum Kufour left NDC a good legacy but they mismanaged them when they came to power.
