Ibrahimovic clear of Covid-19 after initial positive test

The striker had been quarantining since September 24, when he revealed that “Covid had the courage to challenge” him

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and AC Milan have announced that the Swedish forward has tested negative for coronavirus after testing positive for Covid-19 late last month.

The striker announced on September 24 that he had tested positive for the coronavirus, taking to social media to quip: “Covid had the courage to challenge me. Bad idea.”

Ibrahimovic was then required to begin a period of self-isolation, taking him out of contention to feature for Milan.
