Mr. Daniel Agyenim Boateng, a former regional Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is wishing Alhassan Suhuyini becomes a “pillar of salt” for tourist attraction to deter others from speaking ill about the work of God.
The NPP man in an interview on Wontumi TV stated that the Member of Parliament for Tamale North has gain notoriety for passing uncouth comments about the elderly anytime he gets an opportunity to speak.
According to Mr. Daniel Agyenim Boateng, Suhuyini’s decision to insult the National Chief Imam for contributing GHC50,000 towards the construction of the National Cathedral, highlights his disrespect for elders in our society.
“That gentleman needs a counselor to counsel him. He needs it because most of the time, he passes comments that are very insulting…he wants to denigrate him”, Mr. Daniel Agyenim Boateng pointed out.
The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, has contributed GHC50,000 towards the construction of the National Cathedral.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral, Apostle Opoku Onyinah, was excited about the rare move by the Chief Imam and urged everyone, especially people of different religious faiths, to emulate the gesture.
