Ahafo Regional Communications director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Frimpong Andrews has challenged the member of Parliament for Asunafo South, Eric Opoku to set up a project in the Constituency.
This challenge comes in the wake of the member of Parliament’s inability to establish developmental projects in his 20 – year tenure.
Speaking in an interview on Wontumi TV on 15th November, 2024, the communications director lamented on the slow progress of development in Asunafo South.
He However called on the MP, Mr. Opoku to drive transformation to the constituency through development.
“I have thrown a challenge to Eric Opoku that the day he uses his common fund in establishing a project in Asunafo South, I will resign as the Ahafo Regional Communications director.
“This is the third Conservative time I am stating it on this platform. He has never initiated a project for the past 20 years so I dare him to do that now” he stressed.
