The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has promised to organize boys to target former President John Mahama and hoot at him at every public gathering he attends.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi insisted that the recent boos which were target at President Akufo-Addo at the Global Citizen festival in Accra and the recent on Vice President Bawumia suffered during Hogbetsotso Za at Anglo, were all orchestrated by Mr. Mahama.
He vowed that he would ensure the 20020 flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) suffers the same faith and even a more embarrassing one should he dare attend any public event in the coming days.
Chairman Wontumi issued an ultimatum and called on Mr. Mahama to come out and apologize for sponsoring NDC hooligans to boo at President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia.
“I am by this notice also calling on the IGP to formally invite John Mahama and talk to him. One doesn’t need investigators to know that it is John Mahama who is sponsoring fools to boo at President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia. This can’t continue because what they have started is disgracing our nation and John Mahama is behind this stupid act”, Chairman Wontumi said.
Chairman Wontumi has infiltrated a WhatsApp platform created by Sammy Gyamfi with an agenda to monitor and boo the President of the Republic anywhere he goes.
Some portion of the messages shared by Sammy Gyamfi on the platform named NDC Public Outcriers reads : Good Morning Comrades You guys did very well over the weekend. … Comrades, the hooting has trended a lot. We will continue this week. We are going to monitor the public activities of the President. Anyplace he goes to make a speech, we just move in with our numbers and hoot at him. Anyway, I hope everyone received their GHC 500 yesterday?
Another part captures Sammy Gyamfi promising the members that he would make arrangements for them to meet former President John Mahama.
He also points out that he is working assiduously with TV3 and Joy news for them to broadcast news surrounding videos that capture the group members booing President Akufo-Addo and his vice.
Chairman Wontumi, stated that he has paid agents working in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) who feed him with exclusive information he needs about the party.
