The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, has revealed that should he be made flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, he would settle on Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako also known as Chairman Wontumi, as his running mate.
The maverick politician noted on the Security Tips show which airs on Wontumi television that even though he has no plans of being flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, he has received several calls from people to consider the position in the future.
According to him, should he decide to settle on becoming flagbearer of the NPP, he would pick Chairman Wontumi as his running mate because they share the same style.
He noted that Chairman Wontumi is as vociferous as he is and could withstand all intimidation from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) making him the ideal person he wants to work with.
He explained that anytime the NDC met as a group, they discussed how strong the NPP has become with him (Kennedy Agyapong) and Chairman Wontumi around.
