“I Will Buy Pogba If You Challenge Me”- Chairman Wontumi Hints
Business mogul cum football loving fan, Bernard Antwi Boasiako fondly called Chairman Wontumi has re-emphasized that, he is capable of buying Manchester United’s talisman, Paul Lablile Pogba for Asante Kotoko if Ghanaians challenge him.
Chairman Wontumi was referring to the numerous responses from the public triggered by his disclosure last week of his intention to secure Pogba’s signature for a 53 million Pounds contract sum to play for Kotoko
Speaking on the Wontumi Nationwide Sports on Wontumi Radio/TV hosted by King Eben, he affirmed that “he is very flamboyant and a shrewd businessman ready to negotiate for into big deals.”
Chairman Wontumi said that it is up to the Kumasi-based football club to make good arrangement with respect to where the France international can be comfortably accommodated .
“I am a business man. I see before they see.” He teased.
According to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, if Kumasi Asante Kotoko are able to secure the signature of Paul Pogba into African football, it will generate a huge income for the club.
“It will also attract foreign sponsorship to Asante Kotoko Club.” He said
