Gospel musician Perez Musik is all about touching lives with his Glorified concert and he is going to do that with second edition of the show which was hosted at Victory Bible Church, Awoshie, on Sunday, August 27.
He is donating proceeds from the concert which featured artistes such as Cindy Thompson, Joe Beecham to an orphanage.
“I want to be a blessing to many people. As such, my team and I will be donating to an orphanage proceeds from this show. I don’t need to be rich to give to others but I can give the little I have to those who don’t have. The Bible says there is more blessing in giving than to receive,” he told Graphic Showbiz in an interview last Sunday.
According to Perez Musik, real name Frank Nii Okai Tagoe, the Gloried concert is also a platform to draw many people to Jesus and the testimonies from the first concert urged him to hold this year’s.
“Although it is not easy to put together this kind of shows especially if you are funding all expenses, the testimonies received from last year has been encouraging.
“Most important is the fact that the less privileged will benefit from my benevolence urged me on and nothing will deter me from putting smiles on the faces of people,” he said.
The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) 2023 Song Writer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year appealed for support and sponsorship to make next year’s event better.
“A major sponsor will help push the concert to another level. I want to make it very big but the finances are just not there at the moment. Anyone who has attended Glorified will testify it is a well organised show,” he added.
Perez Musik, who has been doing music for five years has performed at big events such as VGMA and Adom Praise and he is known for songs such as Hewale Lala, Blema Tesaa, Fresh Fire among others.
