I Want To Be Bridge Between Govt And Women At Manso Adubia — Ruth Osei Promises
Miss Ruth Osei, aspiring women’s organizer for the Manso Adubia constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) says she would want to become a bridge between government, party officials and the constituency women’s wing of the party when elected into office in the upcoming elections in the area.
Speaking to this reporter on her intent Thursday morning, Miss Osei said women in the party could best play their roles when supported with training and other resources.
According to her, grass-root work can best be done by women who are in almost every sphere of industry in the hinterlands and rural communities in the country.
This, she noted, makes support to them crucial since they could use it wisely to attain better outcomes for the party and government.
‘’I want to wholly dedicate myself to the party and to serve as a conduit of support and development between government, party and the women’s wing of the Manso Adubia constituency’’, the pretty aspirant noted.
EXPERIENCE:
With her experience as TESCON welfare chairperson at KNUST in 2018 to 2019, Miss Osei popularly known as Ruthluv noted her desire to seek for the wellbeing of women within the party in the constituency when elected as women’s organizer.
Having also worked as treasurer at KNUST in 2019 to 2020, the women’s organizer aspirant promised to ensure judicious use of the party’s finances and resources for the betterment of the wing.
As a young politician, Miss Osei said she wants to use her expertise to contribute to the political, psychological and social wellbeing of the females in the constituency.
She noted when women are empowered with the right kind of training and support they can do exploits wherever they are placed.
‘’My decision to contest for this position is to help create a vibrant women’s wing so as to use it to attract more women or females into the fold of the NPP’’, Miss Osei passionately stressed.
INITIATIVES:
Miss Osei stated that she intends to introduce some vocational practice lessons to train more young women in the constituency.
She also promised to organize career opportunity programs for the young females especially graduates from Junior High School and Senior High Schools in Manso Adubia.
