Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has disclosed the toil, struggle and anguish he went through to reach where he’s gotten to in life.

Speaking during the filing of his nomination to contest for the NPP Presidential race, the ‘Digital man’ noted that he never got to where he’s now by chance. He had to go through the thick and thin of life which included working as a cleaner at dormitories when he had travelled to Canada to seek for greener pastures.

This is evident of how he’s championed pro-poor policies geared towards eliminating the plight of the vulnerable in society.

“It’s taken me discipline, dedication and hard work to be here today. I never had it on a silver platter. It’s been a very rough and tough rollercoaster journey for me. But through it all, I remained committed and dedicated.

I have trekked miles to school done menial jobs one would have never thought I would do including working as a mini cab driver and a warehouse worker and also a cleaner at dormitories when I was in Canada among other things”, he disclosed.

Explaining that it’s been by the grace of God that he’s come thus far in life.

“I believe with faith in God, one can fulfil his potential”, he emotional said.
