The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has appealed to voters to be guided by his quality record as President and the abysmal one of former President John Mahama when they visit the polls in 2020.
President Akufo-Addo noted that “we all have record as President. I had no record before, now I do and the NDC’s candidate also has a record” adding that voters should look out for the one that produces a quality record “when given the highest opportunity” to serve.
He reminded voters in an interview on Oman FM which was monitored by Wontumionline.com that if they vote for Mr. Mahama, he would “run us into the arms of the IMF” unlike his government that has out the economy back on track and set us free from the shackles of the IMF.
“I am hoping that Ghanaians would surprise him by not voting for him. He must have respect for us. He lacks respect in the way in which he is talking”, President Akufo-Addo stated in the interview which.
He therefore called on Ghanaians to once again vote against the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. John Mahama, for crediting us as “people with short memory”.
President Akufo-Addo stated that utterances from former President John Mahama proves that he has little respect for Ghanaians and must be punished for it.
