Former Speaker of Parliament, Prof. Aaron Michael Oquaye, has responded to a publication by the Daily Dispatch that he has endorsed Vice President Dr. Bawumia as the 2024 flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party.
In a press release sent to Wontumionline.com, the former Speaker stated that “I wish to state emphatically that I have not endorsed anyone as the 2024 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party.”
He explained that he despite assessing Vice President Bawumia as an “A Plus’ performer when it comes his contribution to Ghana’s digitization, automation and ICT, he also see Hon. Kyerematen as an excellent material.
“The Trade Minister is today a global authority on International Trade, Business and Investment”, he said to praise Hon. Alan Kyerematen.
