I Do Music For Passion, So I Don’t Care If I’m Not Regarded As A Musician – Efia Odo Replies Sista Afia

Ghanaian actress, socialite, and musician, Andrea Owusu, known better as Efia Odo, has clapped back at Sista Afia, a fellow Ghanaian musician.

In an interview with Zion Felix, the “Jeje” hitmaker trashed Efia Odo’s musical exploits, saying she would never spend her time listening to the jokes being produced by the socialite.

She noted that she will only consider listening to Efia Odo’s music when she starts being serious and stops using music as a fun game.

“I haven’t listened to any of her songs, and I don’t regard her as a musician. I mean, Efia is somebody I wouldn’t listen to her music. Maybe she is probably doing it for fun or something,” Sista Afia told ZionFelix in an interview.

She stressed, “We all know what we want to listen to, and I’m not sure I’ll listen to her. Maybe if she comes up with a good song, then I will try to listen, but for now, it is a no.”

Speaking on the March 4 edition of Accra-based UTV’s United Showbiz, hosted by MzVee, Efia Odo said condemning her music is the least of her worries.

She noted that music is something she has found passion in and will dedicate more time to it regardless of who condemns her efforts.

“Oh, I will never be worried because I do it from a passionate place; I put passion in it so if Ghanaians or some Ghanaians ” not regard me as a musician, there are other people who will regard me as a musician.

“So, I keep saying it is not by force. There are so many musicians in this country who started to make music more than five years now but they cannot accumulate 2000 views on YouTube,” said Efia Odo.

The back and forth comes after the video vixen recently dropped her first two singles; “Getting To The Bag” and “Roll Over.”
