I Cried After Listening To Kofi Amoabeng’s UT Bank Story- Chairman Wontumi (VIDEO)

After listening to Kofi Amoabeng narrate how the brother of former President Mahama, Ibrahim Mahama, collapsed his bank, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, revealed that he shed uncontrollable tears.

Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, whose mining business was deliberately collapsed under former President John Mahama, stated that the collapse of UT Bank doesn’t surprise him.

Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show, the NPP Chairman also known as Chairman Wontumi stated that he is glad Mr. Amoabeng has corrected the propaganda by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that it was rather the administration of President Akufo-Addo that collapsed UT Bank.

In an interview the owner of the defunct UT Bank granted, he stated that “I knew the baby was sick to the point that I had to step out for another person to step in as CEO to restructure it.

“I wasn’t expecting the baby to die because of the brand we had created and the impact it was having on the national economy”.

He also cited loans including the ones disbursed to Ibrahim Mahama’s Dzata Cement Company and failure to pay it as some of the reasons that caused trouble for the bank.

The role of Ibrahim Mahama which led to the collapse of the bank forced Chairman Wontumi to state that “so with all the cars in your house and your money you are using to sponsor Mahama’s campaign, why won’t you pay Amoabeng. You have had money to even buy houses for slay queens… I cried when Amoabeng said that he fears one day he might go to jail.
