It has emerged that former President John Dramani Mahama, used his powers as President to protect individuals and companies who were illegally awarded judgement debts by issuing a white paper to insulate them from crime.
The Bono regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye stated that when the issue of awarding judgement debts peaked under the Presidency of Mr. Mahama, he cunningly appointed a Sole Commissioner to look into the matter knowing very well that he would rubbish the findings that would be brought to him.
Speaking on the Nsempa Fie on Wontumi TV, Abronye explained that the findings of the Sole Commission put out that judgement debts awarded to Mr. Alfred Woyome, Waterville, Isofoton etc were all illegal and must be taken back.
He however added that Mr. Mahama as President countered the findings with a White Paper stating that he disagrees with the findings that has been made.
