Dome-Kwabenya 1st vice chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Opoku has noted that former President Mahama is ‘myopic’ and is not worth ruling the country as President.
According to him, the NDC flagbearer failed during his tenure as President and must not be given the opportunity to rule again, unlike Dr. Bawumia who has proven time without number that he’s capable of living up to expectation.
“This man has demonstrated time and time again that whatever he champions becomes a success…look at what he’s been able to with Ghana card and the introduction of drone. Even the US Vice President came to Ghana to learn our drone policy. Mahama should tell us one policy he’s brought that has been successful even the ‘Akomfem’ policy, the guinea flew from Burkina”, he told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV.
He stated that former President Mahama is myopic and cannot lead a country with over 30 million population.
“It was during Mahama’s tenure that afforestation was done in the dry season in the northern region…when Mahama was asked about his vision and policy, all he could say was that he will encourage polling station executives to go into breeding of fowl…such a myopic policy and you want to lead a country with over 30 million people…even a village chief will not do it…it’s like comparing oranges to Apple…”, he added.
