Hon. Eric Opoku Is A Disaster Of An MP – Kwabena Owusu Sekyere

Politics Is Not Church; If I Get 100 Contracts, I Will Grab It- NPP Chairman

Ahafo Regional Chairman of the NPP Mr. Kwabena Owusu Sekyere has declared that the current Member of Parliament for the Asunafo South Constituency is one of a disaster to the people.

He made this known when his campaign rounds took him to Abuom yesterday on the agenda to touch base with the chiefs and the good of his home constituency.

Mr Owusu Sekyere addressing the people challenged anyone who could point out a single achievement of the MP in Abuom during his 8 years reign as the then Brong Ahafo Regional Minister and 12 years as the people’s representative in parliament to be rewarded with an amount of Ghc 5,000.

Shockingly, none at the gathering could point at any achievement in the town attributed to the MP.

Interestingly, the only thing that can be associated with Hon Eric Opoku and former president John Mahama were two giants billboards mounted at the entrance of the town.

Since every developmental project in Aboum is attributed to the NPP Government of President Kufour and Nana Akufo-Addo, he urged the people to continue to keep faith in the the NPP by voting massively for President Akufo-Addo and Kobby Amoa-Mensah as President and Member of Parliament respectively.

Mr Owusu Sekyere ceased the occasion to introduce the contractor who is currently working on the Sankore-Abuom-Naketey highway () to the people.

He further assured the people that the next President Akufo-Addo’s government will establish a modern market as well a Technical and Vocational Education Training Institute in Aboum in order to open up the place for massive development.

In his closing remarks, he advised the gathering to ignore the wicked lies and propaganda of the NDC since they don’t have the credibility and the wisdom to implement  the programs in their manifesto.

Earlier, members of his entourage including Hon Osei Bonsu Snr (DCE), Hon George Boakye, Hon Andrews Agyei Yeboah, Hon Robert Sarfo Mensah, Mr Elvis Mensah among others had already addressed the charged crowd.
