Hon. Barbara Oteng Gyasi Supports Creative Arts Industry
The Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni Valley, Hon. Barbara Oteng Gyasi has donated a consignment of assorted equipment to musicians and actors in her Constituency.
Donating the equipment to the industry players at the Golden Hotel in Bogoso, the Creative Arts and Tourism Minister said that, her motive was “to improve and revitalize the creative arts industry as far as her area is concerned.
The equipment donated by the Hon. Minister were two 6D Cameras, six lighting systems, two tri pods. six light stands, two sound recorders and two boom sticks.
According to Hon. Oteng Gyasi the donation was not the first of her generous acts that have benefited the people in her constituency.
“I’ve on a a number of times donated tools and gadgets to hair dressers and barbers in my constituency to motivate them in meeting the expectations of their clients.”
The Hon MP noted that, with the constant support of the National Public Relations Officer for Film Producers Association of Ghana, Mr. Mawuli Ekpe Peter aka Abro, Fameye and Paa Kwasi of Double fame she always feels encouraged to support the players of the industry in her Constituency.
